My artworks are inspired by the ever-changing beauty of nature. Some call my art “abstract” - I prefer to call it “evocative” for a very simple reason: its goal is to awaken your inner vision. Henry David Thoreau once said, “It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see.

People often ask me if I use photos or other references when I'm painting, and I have a simple but usually unexpected answer: I have a dog! Every dog-owner will understand what that means, or for peopleithout a sweet canine companion, I will simply say that you walk a lot. At any weather and any time of the day (and night), you are moving through your world, observing familiar things though different lenses of colors, weather, and seasons. Just looking around, I find inspiration in every cloud and flower bud, street curve or torn paper.

As a creative director, I was successfully building brands for over twenty years, while my true passion has always been painting.
